Heart / Follow a breath

Begin with a breath

The outside world comes in.

Each breath brings your body into contact with the air around you.

In your lungs, oxygen moves from inhaled air into the blood. Carbon dioxide moves the other way and leaves when you breathe out.

Breathing involves more than the lungs. The diaphragm, chest muscles, airways and blood vessels all play a part.

That makes air a real connection between the body and its surroundings. The next Track steps outside to examine what the air can carry.

THE CONNECTION

Air reaches the lungs; oxygen enters the blood. Air quality therefore belongs in a journey connecting lungs, heart and environment.

EVIDENCE & PROVENANCE

Look beneath the connection.

This journey offers understanding, not diagnosis or personal treatment. Your health, circumstances and existing care plan matter. Do not change prescribed treatment on the strength of a discovery here.
