- 2 large apples, halved and cored
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp maple syrup, optional
- ¼ cup water
Make it
- Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place apple halves cut-side up in a small baking dish.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon and optional maple syrup. Pour water around the apples.
- Bake for 30–40 minutes, until tender when pierced. Add a splash of water if the dish dries out.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
